MDOCS Storytellers' Institute | Visiting Fellows

The MDOCS Visiting Fellows is a fully funded Fellowship for non-fiction artists and storytellers. For 1 month, fellows will have the chance to engage in a creative and intellectual community of non-fiction storytellers and artists on the Skidmore College campus in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Location: Saratoga Springs, NY, USA

Duration: 1 month

Rewards: $500 travel stipend, $2,500 honorarium, studio space, accommodation & exhibition.

 
 
 

Fine Arts Work Center | Visual Arts Fellowship

This fellowship offers a unique opportunity for emerging visual artists in the heart of the vibrant art community of Provincetown. 10 artists will be selected for the seven-month residency, in which artists will receive support to pursue their work independently in a diverse and supportive community of peers.

Location: Provincetown, MA, USA

Duration: 7 months

Rewards: $2,500 stipend, accommodation & studio space

Menil Drawing Institute | Pre-Doctoral Fellowship

The Menil Drawing Institute for pre-doctoral fellows is an open application for American and international scholars and artists. This open call provides the highest level of scholarship and makes possible rich, interdisciplinary, object-based conversations on the drawing medium’s history, theory, criticism, and practice.

Location: Houston, TX, USA

Duration: 9 months

The Jeffrey Ahn, Jr. Fellowship

The Jeffrey Ahn, Jr. Fellowship is an annual award for young artists to produce extraordinary independent projects. Each year, the winning Fellow is chosen by a distinguished jury of artists, curators, gallerists, and established art professionals. In providing creative capital to young people, the Fellowship seeks to foster a positive educational and creative process that empowers them to be working artists for a summer.

Rewards: $10,000 including but not limited to materials, museum/gallery admission, and/or tuition for creative instruction.

 
 

 

The James Jones Literary Society | First Novel Fellowship

The James Jones First Novel Fellowship is an annual award of $10,000 for unpublished American authors. This open call allows writers to receive funding for their projects as well as publish their first novel.  The Fellowship is co-sponsored by the James Jones Literary Society, in Creative Writing at Wilkes University.
