ArtConnect was founded in 2012 as a Berlin-based art blog focused on helping emerging artists navigate the art world and meet new people from the local community. Today, ArtConnect is one of the world’s largest artist-focused platforms with 1 million artists from over 100 countries using its tools every year.

Managing directors, Kevin Driscoll and Pablo Kunert are both artists living in Berlin, Germany. After countless encounters with peers within the artist community, they decided to build a platform to empower artists with tools and resources that allow “artist” to be a feasible career choice. ArtConnect is grounded in an artists-first mindset, cultivating a culture of innovation and a shared purpose to help artists thrive. 

ArtConnect’s platform boasts an impressive opportunities search engine, allowing artists to more effectively and efficiently find the open calls, residencies, awards, and grants they are looking for. With over 10,000 organizations posting opportunities on ArtConnect it is the largest listing of artist opportunities around the world.
