Lina Stallmann
Curator and gallerist living and working between Berlin and London
Since 2017, Lina Stallmann has been organizing and curating shows in the UK and Germany. In 2020, she opened her gallery in Berlin, exhibiting up-and-coming artists, and co-created Salon RT, a nomadic gallery project based in London.
She remains an active participant and co-founder of artisall, a non-profit platform aiming to bring new insights and opportunities to young creatives in different fields.
“No matter what way I engage with art, whether I’m a museum visitor or curating an exhibition, I always find myself in the position of a participant. Thoughts and sensations arrange in the presence of an artwork, making you look and being looked at. It grounds you and lifts you at the same time. In my curatorial practice, I try to communicate that experience in the most clear and accessible ways”
