María Rojas is a guest curator of ArtConnect's Artists to Watch ‘22

María Rojas’ work focuses on contemporary digital practices, the new ways of consuming and perceiving images through electronic devices that are already part of our bodies. Synthetic skins, gelatinous bodies, alphanumeric codes as present futures.

As a curator she has curated 'A garden plot' for EXP20 Barcelona, generating an idea of artificial nature through the composition of a garden bounded by the limits of the photographic medium itself.

Her most recent work is the curatorial direction of Cyclo Madrid, where is generates a hybrid model of artistic experience that places the body as the center of thought.
