Vermont Studio Center | Residency Program
The Vermont Studio Center has fostered creativity through community, collaboration, and quiet reflection during in-person residency for visual artists and writers. The center aims to build an international creative community that supports artists and writers by providing them with a distraction-free studio space and the companionship of professional peers. Residents receive individual studios, private rooms, and all meals, plus access to prominent Visiting Artists and Writers offering slide talks, readings, and studio visits.

Fine Arts Work Center | Residencies & Fellowships
The Fine Arts Work Center is a space for artists and writers. Each year, they provides seven-month Fellowships-the gift of time and spaceÂ-to ten artists and ten writers selected from over 1,000 applicants worldwide. From October to May, the Visual Arts Fellows receive private efficiency apartments, separate studio space, and a monthly stipend of $750. Fellows pursue their work independently in a diverse and supportive community of peers.

The Studio Works Residency at the Tides Institute & Museum of Art (TIMA) offers residency opportunities to visual artists from the U.S. and abroad to deepen and develop their practice within a community setting. The Frost Place is a nonprofit educational center for poetry and the arts based at Robert Frost’s old homestead, which is owned by the town of Franconia, New Hampshire. The Hadassah-Brandeis Institute, a research center at Brandeis University, develops fresh ways of thinking about Jewish people and gender worldwide by producing and promoting scholarly research and artistic projects. The Yard | Dance & Performance Art Residencies
The Company Residency and Bessie Schönberg Individual Choreographers' Residency are the artistic centers of The Yard's programming. These 4-week residencies provide artists with housing, workspace, stipends, technical and administrative support, artistic mentoring, concert performances of new work, and the time and freedom to explore their craft without interruption or outside obligation. Yard founder Patricia Nanon envisioned the residencies as a "playground without walls... a place to explore, experiment, construct."
