De Ateliers | Two-Year Residency Program

The two-year program at De Ateliers offers an extended period of support for artists to practice in light, bright and spacious studios in central Amsterdam. The program is accompanied by regular studio visits, further facilities, exhibition opportunities and access to a thriving community of artists.

Duration: Two years

Rewards: €15.864 yearly stipend, €2,000 yearly production budget, accommodation, studio + exhibition.

 
 
 

Dutch Foundation for Literature | Residency for Writers in Amsterdam

Operating since 2006, the Dutch Foundation for Literature invites international authors who have had their work translated into Dutch as writers-in-residence. Their space in the heart of Amsterdam has a history of hosting renowned international authors who have produced some of their most acclaimed work.

Duration: 4-6 weeks

Thami Mnyele Foundation | Residency for Artists from Africa and Diaspora

The aim of Thami Mnyele Foundation’s artist-in-residence program is to invite artists from Africa and the diaspora in order to facilitate cultural exchange. Their studios are based in an old school building and are the perfect environment for artistic reflection, development and dialogue.

Duration: 3 months

Rewards: €850 per month, travel to Amsterdam, accommodation, studio and visa assistance.

The Rijksakademie has been operating for over 150 years, making it one of the most prestigious institutions in the Netherlands. Offering a two-year residency program with significant funding, their program should not be overlooked by artists interested in developing their practice in Amsterdam.

Nieuw en Meer | Guest Studio Residency

Home to over 100 artists and creative businesses, Nieuw en Meer is an incredible creative community set in a former squatted military depot. It is also located beside a beautiful park and lake, yet is still close to central Amsterdam, therefore offering the best of both worlds and the perfect setting for artistic development.

Duration: Up to three months

Fee: €400 per month or €500 for couples
